Definitions
Unless the context requires otherwise, the following terms have the meanings set out below.
- All-In Betting — a market in which every bet is binding once placed, regardless of whether the nominated runner or competitor ultimately starts, takes part in, or completes the event. No refunds are paid and no deductions are applied to All-In bets.
- Best Tote — the highest of the three Australian totalisator Win dividends declared for the relevant runner.
- Best of the Best (BOB) — a promotional pricing product offered on selected Saturday metropolitan thoroughbred meetings as shown on our website or app. Unless we permit otherwise, BOB wagers (a) may only be placed up to 30 minutes before the scheduled jump, and (b) are subject to a maximum payout of $5,000.
- Cash Out — a feature that, where available, allows you to ask us to settle a bet for a returned value before the relevant market has been finalised.
- Dead Heat — where two or more competitors are officially declared to have finished equal, whether for the win or for any place.
- Deductions — reductions applied to the agreed fixed odds of remaining runners when another runner is scratched or withdrawn after a market has been formed, calculated in accordance with the Schedule of Deductions in these Rules or as directed by the relevant Racing Authority.
- Exacta — selecting the runners to finish first and second in the correct order. If a selected runner becomes a non-runner or is scratched after the bet is confirmed, the affected combinations are refunded and the bet is recalculated over the remaining runners.
- First Four — selecting the runners to finish first, second, third and fourth in the correct order, with the same scratching treatment as an Exacta.
- Head to Head Market — a market in which two runners are matched against each other; to be settled as a winner, a selection must finish within the first four placings.
- "In the Run" (Live) Wagering — a wager placed on a nominated market after the event has commenced and while it is in progress.
- Jurisdiction — the place in which you reside or from which you access our betting platforms, as applicable.
- Live Betting Market — a market on which a fixed-odds win bet may be placed on a horse race after racing has commenced, where offered.
- Major Australian Totes — the principal Australian totalisator operators whose Win and Place dividends we reference for tote-based products.
- Middle Tote — the middle of the three Australian totalisator Win or Place dividends.
- Multi Bet (All-Up Bet) — a single bet combining two or more individual selections, where the odds of each leg are multiplied together to produce the total return; every leg must succeed for the bet to win.
- Non-Metropolitan Venue — a race meeting that is not a metropolitan meeting, determined for the purposes of these Rules.
- Odds — the odds, prices or lines we offer on a market.
- Official Starting Time — the start time stated for the relevant event by its controlling body.
- Promotional Bonuses / Bonus Bets — bonuses or bonus bets awarded under a promotion offered by upc0z.
- Quadrella (Quaddie) — selecting the winners of four nominated races. If a selected runner becomes a non-runner or is scratched after the bet is confirmed, that leg is refunded; it does not transfer to a substitute favourite.
- Quinella — selecting two runners to finish first and second in either order, with the same scratching treatment as an Exacta.
- Racing Derivatives — derivative racing markets including Head to Head, Favourite Out, Favourite v Field, Inside v Outside, Half v Half and Odds v Evens.
- Starting Price (SP) — the official final price when the race jumps. For international thoroughbred and harness racing (other than French thoroughbred and harness racing), our final fixed price offered before the jump is treated as the SP.
- Top Fluctuation — the best price recorded among the official on-course bookmakers' fluctuations.
- Tote — one of the Australian totalisator pools.
- Trifecta — selecting three runners to finish first, second and third in the correct order, with the same scratching treatment as an Exacta.
- Website — upc0z's website and app, and any associated or white-label version of them.
- Win Limits — the maximum aggregate winnings we are obliged to pay to any one person or entity (or any group we consider to be acting for one person or entity) in respect of an event, whether the event is bet as a single, an exotic, a leg of a multiple, or across a group of multiples.
1. General Rules
- 1.1. These Rules apply to racing and to all sports. Where a Rule specific to a particular racing code or sport conflicts with a general Rule below or with our Terms and Conditions, the more specific Rule prevails.
- 1.2. The result of an event, game or race is the result determined on the day by the relevant governing body in accordance with that event's rules. For settlement purposes we do not recognise suspended fixtures, protests or decisions that are later overturned, except where a specific Rule below provides otherwise.
- 1.3. Online bets close one (1) minute before the official starting time. If the official start is delayed, we may continue to accept bets up to the actual start of the race or event.
- 1.4. Where an event is offered for which we have no applicable settlement rule, we will not frame a market on it.
- 1.5. Unless stated otherwise, if a fixture is postponed to a different day from the one originally scheduled, or is cancelled, bets placed before the originally scheduled start are void and stakes refunded. Bets stand on any fixture that is merely delayed before its scheduled start but is still played on the same calendar day (local time). An exception applies to fixtures forming part of a fixed-date tournament framework (for example the Olympic Games, tennis tournaments, championship finals or World Cup finals), where bets stand. This exception does not extend to non-tennis qualifying matches held outside the fixed-date framework. Individual sport Rules dealing with postponement override this clause.
2. Bet Placement
- 2.1. When placing a bet you acknowledge that you may not rely on any statement, inference or other communication made by any of our employees or representatives in relation to that bet, including anything said before a bet placed by telephone.
- 2.2. Bets placed on your account must meet the following minimum stakes:
- a) internet bets: minimum $1.00;
- b) telephone bets on live (in-running) sporting events: minimum $50.00;
- c) telephone bets on any other sport or racing event: minimum $10.00.
- 2.3. We have absolute discretion over the odds, prices and lines we choose to offer to any Client.
- 2.4. We have absolute discretion over the odds we offer on the Website and reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to decline any bet. All odds displayed (including fixed odds) are indicative only until you have logged in and the bet has been accepted and confirmed by us, and may change before acceptance. Wagering limits may affect the odds offered to you and odds remain subject to variation until the bet is accepted.
- 2.5. Where an individual arrangement to enhance odds is in place, we reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to adjust any payout to the odds available on the Website at the time of placement if that arrangement is breached or withdrawn by either party.
- 2.6. A bet is accepted only when:
- a) (online) you submit the bet and a betting confirmation is returned to you; or
- b) (telephone) the bet is read back by our representative and you confirm agreement. You are responsible for confirming that the details read back are correct.
- 2.7. When betting by telephone you are responsible for quoting your correct account details, including your user ID and password.
- 2.8. When betting online you are responsible for verifying that all bet details are correct before submitting the bet.
- 2.9. For telephone bets, the odds offered are those stated by our operator at the time you place the bet. All odds are subject to wagering limits and to variation until the bet is accepted. For tote-derivative products the final return is not known until dividends are declared.
- 2.10. If a telephone call in which a bet is being placed is interrupted for any reason before the conversation concludes, any unconfirmed bet is treated as not having been made. It is your responsibility to contact us promptly to confirm the bet you wish to place.
- 2.11. Bets are accepted only up to the actual or advertised start time, or such other time as we determine. If a bet is accepted after an event has started in circumstances where we had no knowledge that the event had commenced and accepted the bet in good faith, that bet is void and the stake refunded.
- 2.12. Placing a further bet on our platform signifies that you accept your account balance and the result of any previous bet, and no refund or adjustment will then be made. You must contact us immediately if you believe a previous bet has been settled incorrectly or unfairly.
- 2.13. Where a market is offered on a flat line (for example 7.0) and the result lands exactly on that number, single bets are void and refunded, and any affected multiples are recalculated excluding that leg.
- 2.14. In any multi or parlay, if a leg is voided for any reason the multi is recalculated without that leg. For example, if a tennis player in a four-leg multi withdraws, the multi is reduced to a three-leg treble.
3. "In the Run" (Live) Wagering
- 3.1. Once an event commences, the pre-event market closes and, on nominated events only, a new "In the Run" market may open.
- 3.2. We do not accept "In the Run" bets over the internet. Such bets are accepted by telephone only.
4. Win Limits and Maximum Payouts
- 4.1. Unless otherwise agreed or stated in these Rules or our Terms and Conditions, the maximum payout on any single telephone bet (whether single, exotic or multiple) is $25,000 for any one race or event. This limit excludes Same Race Multi (SRM) and Same Game Multi (SGM) bets.
- 4.2. Unless otherwise agreed or stated, the maximum payout on any single internet bet (whether single, exotic or multiple) is $25,000 for any one race or event. This limit excludes SRM and SGM bets.
- 4.3. The maximum telephone or internet wager (or series of wagers) that we are compelled to accept at our offered odds is the amount that, applied to those odds, produces the maximum payout we are obliged by law to pay in the circumstances (the applicable betting limit).
- 4.4. We comply with each Australian State, Territory and Commonwealth Racing Authority Minimum Bet Limit (MBL) policy when offering fixed odds at the relevant time. These limits may vary during carnival periods.
- 4.5. Without prior negotiation, for fixed-odds bets placed after 9:00am (AET) on the day of an Australian thoroughbred meeting (or after 2:00pm AET for a night meeting), we will accept a single fixed-odds bet, or a number of single fixed-odds bets at the displayed odds, up to the maximum payouts set out below for each race type:
| Race venue | Win / Win-Place / Each-Way (AUD) | Place Only (AUD) |
|---|---|---|
| Metropolitan thoroughbred (NSW, QLD, VIC, WA, SA, NT) | 2,000 | 800 |
| Non-metropolitan thoroughbred (NSW, QLD, VIC, WA, SA, NT) | 1,000 | 400 |
| All Tasmanian thoroughbred | 1,000 | 400 |
| ACT thoroughbred (standard) | 1,000 | 400 |
| ACT feature (e.g. principal Group race) | 2,000 | 800 |
- 4.6. If there has been an official price fluctuation, or our own price has moved, we may decline to accept a bet at the previous price.
- 4.7. Where the three Australian totes do not cover a New Zealand race, mid-tote bets are settled at the relevant New Zealand TAB dividend.
- 4.8. You acknowledge that for some bet types your accepted stake may give you the opportunity to win more than an applicable Win Limit or maximum payout. Even so, we are only obliged to pay you up to the relevant Win Limit or maximum payout. Where we apply such a limit, we may refund the portion of your stake that, at the agreed odds, would have produced a return above that limit.
- 4.9. Subject to our other Terms and Conditions and to any other applicable Win Limit, the maximum payout to any one person or entity (or any group we consider to be acting for one person or entity) is as set out below:
| Bet type | Metro thoroughbred (AUD) | Non-metro thoroughbred (AUD) | Overseas — Asia & NZ (AUD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Win and Place | 25,000 | 25,000 | 10,000 |
| Quinella | 10,000 | 10,000 | 5,000 |

| Early Quaddie | 10,000 | 10,000 | 10,000 |

|---|---|---|---|
| Win and Place | 10,000 | 10,000 | 10,000 |
| Quinella | 5,000 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| Exacta | 5,000 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| Trifecta | 5,000 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| First Four | 5,000 | 5,000 | 5,000 |

| Quaddie | 5,000 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
| Early Quaddie | 5,000 | 5,000 | 5,000 |
- 4.10. Subject to our other Terms and Conditions, the maximum we are obliged to pay across all legs of a single winning multi (excluding Same Race and Same Game Multis) is $25,000, irrespective of the number of legs. See section 10 for further multi-bet detail.
5. Cash Out
- 5.1. We determine, in our discretion, when Cash Out is available on our platforms. It is not offered to all customers, bet types, or racing and sporting events, and is not available on (among other things) bonus bets, bets struck with non-withdrawable funds, or bets that would qualify for a bonus or promotion.
- 5.2. We do not guarantee that Cash Out will be available and accept no liability for any loss arising from its unavailability. We may amend, suspend or remove the feature at any time on any market or for any account. All bets remain valid regardless of whether Cash Out is available.
- 5.3. If a Cash Out request succeeds, you will see a "Success" message, the bet will be settled immediately, and the determined Cash Out value will be returned to your account. Cashing out completes and ends the original bet.
- 5.4. If a Cash Out request is unsuccessful you will be notified, and where available a fresh Cash Out offer may be presented.
6. Bonus Bets and Promotions
- 6.1. Bonus bets are issued only to recreational customers and only to one IP address or household. They are granted at our discretion, and we may withhold or withdraw any bonus bet where an account is closed or used in breach of these Rules or our Terms and Conditions.
- 6.2. We may close your account or void bonus bets and any related winnings where, among other things, we reasonably suspect that:
- a) bonus bets are being used for matched betting or promotional arbitrage; or
- b) account activity involves a concealed or unidentified IP address or the use of a VPN.
- 6.3. Bonus promotions may not be combined with any other offer.
- 6.4. The following promotion types may be offered:
- a) Deposit Bonus — a bonus bet credited when you deposit at least the amount specified in the promotion;
- b) Winning Bonus — additional capped winnings (excluding stake) paid as a bonus bet on specified markets;
- c) Refund Promotion — your stake refunded as cash or as a bonus bet, as specified;
- d) Reward Bonus — a bonus bet credited after you complete a specified action, including a matched-stake promotion.
- 6.5. Each promotion that may award a promotional bonus may be entered only once per Client, residence, IP address, computer, smartphone or tablet.
- 6.6. The following apply to the use of bonus bets:
- a) they may be used as a single bet only, on any available sports or Australian racing market, excluding entertainment, politics, and any markets excluded by the specific promotion terms;
- b) only one bonus bet (from any promotion) may be used per event or match;
- c) the maximum bonus-bet stake on any one event is $500 unless we approve otherwise in advance;
- d) the minimum bonus-bet stake is $1;
- e) winnings are paid excluding the bonus-bet stake;
- f) the maximum winnings payable on any bonus bet are $1,000;
- g) a bonus bet expires three (3) days after it is awarded if unused, unless stated otherwise;
- h) bonus bets cannot be used to generate further bonus bets.
- 6.7. We may, in our absolute discretion, refuse to allow you to take part in a bonus promotion. Where we do, we will notify you in writing of your ineligibility.
- 6.8. Customers we consider to be abusing bonus promotions, or breaching these Rules, may have their promotional bonuses and any related winnings cancelled. Bonus bets will be cancelled and forfeited where used for:
- a) hedge betting;
- b) zero-margin bets; or
- c) bets covering all outcomes of an event such that no loss can occur.
- 6.9. We may cancel, change or suspend any promotion at any time without notice.
- 6.10. Where a bonus or promotional bet is offered, any resulting winnings may not be withdrawn until you have turned over the corresponding cash deposit (if any) as set out in the relevant terms. If you request a refund before that turnover is met, the following are cancelled and forfeited:
- a) all unused bonus bets and parts of them;
- b) all pending bets placed with bonus bets; and
- c) all winnings derived from bonus bets.
- 6.11. Winnings from bonus bets are paid net of the bonus-bet stake.
7. Results and Settlement (General)
- 7.1. Where an event is postponed and rescheduled to take place within 48 hours of the original start, bets stand. Where it is rescheduled to more than 48 hours after the original start, single bets are void and stakes refunded, and affected multiples are recalculated excluding that leg. A different time period stated in an individual sport Rule overrides this clause.
- 7.2. For sports and competitions played over a set length of time, the competitors must take part and the event must run to the end of the designated period for the result to be official, unless an individual sport Rule provides otherwise.
- 7.3. Unless stated otherwise in the market description or an individual sport Rule, overtime or extra time is included in the result, except for:
- a) soccer;
- b) markets expressly noted as excluding extra time or overtime; and
- c) sports whose individual Rules state that extra time or overtime is excluded.
- 7.4. For multiples, if any leg is voided the bet is recalculated excluding the voided leg or legs.
- 7.5. Unless stated otherwise, we do not offer traditional each-way betting. Our "Win and Place" Rules for horse racing are:
- a) with 8 or more runners, a place is paid for 1st, 2nd and 3rd; for fixed-odds each-way, the place return is the fixed odds confirmed at placement;
- b) with 5, 6 or 7 runners, a place is paid for 1st and 2nd only, again at the confirmed fixed odds for each-way;
- c) with fewer than 5 runners, all bets are Win Only; and
- d) a Dead Heat occurs (see 7.6).
- 7.6. Unless stated otherwise, the following Dead Heat Rule applies:
- a) where a Dead Heat occurs and we did not offer a price on that outcome, bets are paid at the face value of the ticket divided by the number of competitors tying for that placing;
- b) where each-way betting was available, place ties are paid by multiplying the place portion of the ticket's face value by the number of remaining places and dividing by the number of competitors tying for those places;
- c) where we did offer odds on the Dead Heat or Draw outcome, all Win and Place bets lose and the Draw is paid as the winner;
- d) where a horse or harness race results in a Dead Heat and a protest is subsequently upheld, the payout on the relegated runner is half the ticket's face value (this applies to internet bets only);
- e) all published dates and times are indicative; bets are accepted up to the advertised start or such time as we determine, and we may cancel any bet mistakenly accepted after the start of an event.
8. Jockey's Challenge
- 8.1. A Jockey's Challenge is a Win Only market offered on selected meetings, settled on the jockey who accumulates the highest aggregate points across the nominated meeting, race day or carnival, calculated under the Rules below. Where two or more jockeys finish level on points, Dead Heat Rules apply, regardless of how many outright winners either jockey rode.
- 8.2. Before betting opens, we publish a list of jockeys with opening prices, including an "any other jockey" option covering any jockey not separately listed. The "any other jockey" option is always treated as a single entity.
- 8.3. If any individually listed jockey does not complete at least one ride at the meeting, all Jockey's Challenge bets for that meeting are cancelled and refunded.
- 8.4. For bets to stand, every scheduled race must be run and correct weight declared. If the meeting is abandoned or postponed, or any race is declared a "no race" by the stewards, all bets are cancelled and refunded — unless there is an unassailable leader, in which case bets stand and are paid out.
- 8.5. No points are allocated for a race that is postponed to another meeting, abandoned, or declared a no race by the stewards on the day.
- 8.6. The winner is the jockey with the most points at the end of the meeting. Points accrue per race as follows:
- a) 3 points for a winning ride;
- b) 2 points for a second placing;
- c) 1 point for a third placing.
- 8.7. Points are allocated only to the jockey who actually rides the placed horse, including where that jockey falls under "any other jockey". No points are allocated to a rider who was engaged but replaced by permission or direction of the stewards.
- 8.8. There are no refunds where a jockey is replaced by another rider.
- 8.9. Where a Dead Heat occurs for any placing, points are split proportionally. For example, a Dead Heat for the win awards 2.5 points to each of the two tying riders, with 0 for second and 1 for third; a Dead Heat for second awards 3, then 1.5 each, then 2 for third; a Dead Heat for third awards 3, 2, then 0.5 each.
- 8.10. Where a triple Dead Heat occurs, points are likewise split proportionally — for example a triple Dead Heat for the win awards 2 points to each of the three riders.
- 8.11. Where two or more jockeys finish level on points, successful bets are paid under the Dead Heat Rule: for fixed-odds Jockey's Challenge bets, the reduced return equals the ticket's face value divided by the number of winning jockeys involved in the Dead Heat.
- 8.12. Allocated points are not altered by any later disqualification. Any dispute over the declared winner is decided by the stewards at the relevant meeting, whose decision is final. Points are confirmed on the announcement of correct weight.
- 8.13. Payment is declared at the end of each meeting or carnival, unless the stewards direct otherwise.
- 8.14. Any matter not covered by these Rules is determined by the chairman of stewards in the racing jurisdiction in which the bet was placed.
9. Protest Payout
- 9.1. Protest Payout applies where your runner is first past the post but the result is amended following an upheld stewards' enquiry.
- 9.2. Protest Payout applies to every Australian thoroughbred and harness race.
- 9.3. Where a protest against the first horse to finish is upheld, we pay both the interim winner (first past the post) and the official winner.
- 9.4. Protest Payout applies only where the runner that was first past the post is relegated. It does not apply where a runner that finished 2nd or 3rd loses its placing as a result of a minor protest.
- 9.5. Protest Payout applies only to official protests. It does not apply to disqualifications (including, for example, where a jockey weighs in incorrectly).
- 9.6. Protest Payout is valid only on fixed-odds Win bets.
- 9.7. Protest Payout applies only to bets on final-field markets. Pre-post and futures bets are not eligible.
- 9.8. Protest Payout does not apply to special markets, including (without limitation) multis, exotics, bonus bets, Head to Head, Odds v Evens, Favourite v Field and Jockey's Challenge betting. Where a protest is upheld, any "run 2nd" (or "run 2nd or 3rd") promotion for that race is void and bonuses are not paid.
- 9.9. The payout equals the full return you would have received had your runner been the official winner, subject to clauses 9.10 to 9.12 and to our other betting Rules and maximum payout limits.
- 9.10. The maximum Protest Payout is $500 per Client per race.
- 9.11. The maximum Protest Payout is $1,000 per Client per day.
- 9.12. Only the first bet placed on a particular runner is eligible for Protest Payout.
- 9.13. Win dividends for Protest Payout are calculated using the final official tote dividend, or the fixed price confirmed on your bet slip, as applicable.
- 9.14. We may exclude or limit any Client's eligibility for Protest Payout. The product is available to recreational customers only.
10. Racing (Thoroughbred / Harness / Greyhound) Terms and Conditions
- 10.1. Where a meeting is transferred from one racecourse to another, all betting Rules and limits apply as though the meeting had not been transferred.
- 10.2. If a meeting is postponed or abandoned, all outstanding bets on the meeting are cancelled and void.
- 10.3. With 8 or more runners, a place dividend is paid for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
- 10.4. With 5, 6 or 7 runners, a place dividend is paid for 1st and 2nd only.
- 10.5. For tote-based products, place bets pay down to as many placings as the major Australian totes determine for that bet type.
- 10.6. With fewer than 5 runners, all bets are Win Only. If a late scratching reduces the field below 5, non-tote place bets are refunded where no collect is possible.
- 10.7. If a runner is scratched, bets placed on that runner after the declaration of the final field are refunded (provided the bet was not placed before the barrier draw on an All-In basis).
- 10.8. In that case, the remaining runners are subject to deductions, applied to the face value of winning fixed-price bets for Win, Each-Way or Place Only.
- 10.9. Where a horse is withdrawn late by order of the stewards, bets are settled as the stewards direct, including deductions on the remaining runners.
- 10.10. For fixed-price racing bets placed after the official time for final acceptances but before we adjust our prices following a withdrawal, the bets stand subject to our scale of deductions applied to the price we offered for the scratched runner at the time of its scratching.
- 10.11. Where a field reduces from 8 runners to 7 or fewer, for bets placed via the Website or app before the reduction we pay three dividends on all fixed-odds place bets, subject to relevant stewards' deductions.
- 10.12. Where a field reduces from 5, 6 or 7 runners to fewer than 5, for bets placed via the Website or app before the reduction we pay two dividends on all fixed-odds place bets, subject to relevant deductions.
- 10.13. Where a field reduces from 10 or more runners to 9 or fewer, for telephone bets placed before the reduction we pay three dividends on all each-way fixed-odds bets, subject to relevant deductions. Where an odds-on runner was in the field when the bet was struck, the place portion is paid at tote odds regardless of field size.
- 10.14. Where you place a fixed-odds place bet online and there are only 5, 6 or 7 runners, we pay 1st and 2nd only, even if the tote later pays three placings due to late scratchings.
- 10.15. If a bet on a horse race (other than a Live or "In the Run" bet) is inadvertently accepted after the start time, it is void and refunded. "Inadvertently" means we had no knowledge that the event had started and accepted the bet in good faith.
- 10.16. Content such as form guides and speed maps is provided as an accessory and may contain errors. While we try to correct reported faults promptly, we do not warrant that our platforms or their content are error-free.
- 10.17. Our racing products may include, depending on the meeting status:
- a) Best Tote;
- b) Top Fluctuation;
- c) Starting Price (SP);
- d) Place Only / Each-Way — on Australian codes, paid at Middle Tote (the middle of the three Australian tote dividends). We may disregard the Best Tote price and instead pay the lowest-paying tote plus 5% where the spread between the lowest- and highest-paying totes exceeds 20%;
- e) Racing exotics (Quinella, Exacta, Trifecta, First Four, Quadrella) — paid at the relevant tote dividend, capped to the relevant tote pool total, with payout limits we may apply across all codes;
- f) Multi Bet (All-Up) — combining individual selections by multiplying their odds. We accept multis of up to 10 legs, including mixed racing and sports legs. The maximum multi odds for this product are $1,001. Where a mixed racing/sports multi contains a greyhound or harness leg, the maximum payout reverts to the lowest applicable Win Limit. Multis may not be placed on dependent (related) events;
- g) Fixed Win and Fixed Place — at the odds confirmed at placement; these may be subject to deductions following a late scratching and are not subject to fluctuation once confirmed.
- 10.18. Racing derivatives may include Head to Head, Favourite Out, Favourite v Field, Inside v Outside, Half v Half and Odds v Evens. For the avoidance of doubt, a Head to Head selection must finish in the first four placings to be settled as a winner.
- 10.19. If a runner is a late scratching after you have bet, your selection is refunded and the remaining runners are subject to deductions in accordance with the relevant State Racing Authority.
- 10.20. Maximum Win dividends payable on fixed-odds bets are:
- a) $51 for greyhound racing;
- b) $101 for harness racing;
- c) $201 for thoroughbred racing.
- 10.21. Where a dividend is to be paid as declared by a particular tote and that tote fails to declare within 10 minutes of the other Australian totes, we pay the lower of the dividends declared by those other totes.
- 10.22. We may cancel bets where there are signs of pool manipulation, including an abnormal increase in pool size or dividends falling outside normal parameters relative to participants' fixed odds.
- 10.23. Where pool manipulation is reasonably suspected, we may cap the payout (for example to the fixed-odds SP place dividend, or to no more than 100% above the next-best Australian tote), subject to adjudication by the relevant integrity body.
- 10.24. If a tote pool fails or pools are distorted, we may omit those dividends when settling.
- 10.25. For example, if one State tote pool is down, the higher of the two remaining totes is used for Best Tote products and the lower of the two for Middle Tote products.
- 10.26. If a major Australian tote returns elevated dividends (for example by foregoing its usual take-out for a promotion), we may declare our Best Tote dividends at the higher of the other two totes. Only Win Only and Each-Way single bets are eligible, and our decision is final. Multis are not eligible.
- 10.27. If a meeting is abandoned or postponed to another date, single bets are void and refunded, and affected multis are recalculated excluding that leg.
- 10.28. Where a meeting is transferred to another racecourse, all betting Rules and limits apply as if it had not been transferred.
- 10.29. Regardless of whether a futures (All-In) event is abandoned, postponed or transferred, bets stand until the event is completed.
- 10.30. We may cancel any bet we consider to be unfairly advantaged in relation to event start times.
- 10.31. Dead Heat Rule — where a Dead Heat or Draw occurs and we did not offer that option, the ticket is paid at face value divided by the number of Dead-Heating winners. For tote-product bets, we pay on the re-framed tote dividends.
- 10.32. Where a Dead Heat occurs for a placing, there are as many dividends as there are correct-order combinations, as declared by the relevant State or Territory tote.
- 10.33. Our products are intended for bona fide Clients who act in good faith and bet for recreation and entertainment.
- 10.34. If no bet type is specified, the default is a Win Only bet at the applicable tote product.
- 10.35. At our discretion, tote pools under $1,000 may be disregarded when calculating Best Tote and Middle Tote dividends.
- 10.36. All our exotics are available online only.
- 10.37. Racing exotics are paid on winning combinations at the relevant tote dividend, including for metropolitan thoroughbred racing.
- 10.38. Metropolitan thoroughbred place dividends are paid at the Middle Tote of the three Australian dividends, unless a promotion states otherwise.
- 10.39. For a jackpot, our dividend is the relevant tote dividend divided by the number of $1.00 winning units; where we hold less than one winning unit, the flexi percentage held is applied to the jackpot to determine the dividend.
- 10.40. Where the location of the bet is not covered by the three Australian tote pools, the dividend is paid at the lower of the two relevant Australian totes.
- 10.41. Despite the maximum Win Limits in these Rules, we may limit total payout to any person on any bet type. Where our total payout on a bet type would exceed the relevant tote pool, we may limit total payouts to the amount of that pool.
- 10.42. We operate the following exotics: Quinella; Exacta; Trifecta; First Four; Quadrella.
- 10.43. Flexi Betting lets you take a Quinella, Exacta, Trifecta, First Four or Quaddie for an outlay of your choice, giving multiple selections for a smaller stake. We pay all winning combinations on flexi bets at the relevant tote dividend, to the limits above.
- 10.44. Unless stated otherwise:
- a) for metropolitan thoroughbred Quinellas, Exactas, Trifectas and First Fours we pay the tote dividend to a maximum of $10,000 per Client per event;
- b) for non-metropolitan thoroughbred, all harness and all greyhound Quinellas, Exactas, Trifectas, First Fours, Daily Doubles and Running Doubles we pay to a maximum of $2,000 per Client per event;
- c) for Quadrellas we pay to a maximum of $10,000 per Client per event across all venues; and
- d) where an event is at a location not covered by an Australian State-regulated tote, exotics are settled to a maximum of $5,000 per Client per event.
- 10.45. Where a leg of an exotic is abandoned or declared "no race", that leg is paid or refunded in accordance with the relevant tote treatment for the applicable code and venue.
- 10.46. If a runner is a late scratching after you have bet, your selection is refunded.
- 10.47. Any winning payout that followed a bank-transfer ("PayID"/POLi-style) deposit is paid only once we have confirmed the cleared funds in our designated account.
11. Same Race Multi (SRM) Bets
- 11.1. SRM betting is available on selected Australian and New Zealand thoroughbred and greyhound races.
- 11.2. SRM betting opens for Australian and New Zealand thoroughbred events after 09:30 local track time, once fixed-odds win prices are available.
- 11.3. SRM betting opens for Australian and New Zealand greyhound events roughly one hour before the start, once fixed-odds win prices are available.
- 11.4. SRM betting is available only for races with six or more runners.
- 11.5. If a race is resulted with fewer than six runners, all SRM bets are void and stakes refunded.
- 11.6. The maximum number of legs in an SRM is four.
- 11.7. Dead Heat Rules apply to SRMs: where a Dead Heat occurs, the ticket is paid at face value divided by the number of Dead-Heating selections per finishing position.
- 11.8. If any selection in an SRM is scratched, the SRM is void and the stake refunded.
- 11.9. Where a runner is scratched but is not part of an SRM, deductions apply per the Schedule of Deductions at the end of these Rules.
- 11.10. Cash Out is not available on SRMs.
- 11.11. SRM prices are calculated on the permutations of the selections and are not a simple multiplication of each selection's odds.
- 11.12. Where an SRM forms a leg of a larger multi and the SRM leg is voided, the multi is recalculated excluding that leg. Except for SRMs, we do not accept multis where one part's outcome is related to another's; if a related outcome is taken (deliberately or otherwise), the bet is void.
- 11.13. The maximum odds for an SRM are 5001.
- 11.14. Maximum SRM payouts are:
- a) Australian metropolitan thoroughbred (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin, Perth): $25,000;
- b) Australian non-metropolitan thoroughbred: $15,000;
- c) New Zealand, Hong Kong and other international thoroughbred: $15,000;
- d) Australian and New Zealand greyhound: $15,000.
- 11.15. Maximum payouts apply whether you place a single SRM or a series of SRMs with the same selections (even on different dates or at different odds). Where the total would exceed the maximum, the additional SRMs are void and stakes refunded; our liability for SRMs involving the same selections will never exceed the maximum payout. We may apply these limits across accounts held by different customers where we consider SRMs with the same selections are being placed by customers acting in concert.
- 11.16. We may suspend, change or cancel SRM availability at any time, including for events for which SRM betting has been advertised.
12. Racing Futures — Thoroughbred, Greyhound & Harness
- 12.1. Futures betting is available on selected events in two forms:
- a) Pre-Nominations — bets placed before official nominations are accepted on a "Refund If Not Nominated" basis; runners not officially nominated are refunded. No deductions apply.
- b) Nominations — bets placed before the final field is declared are accepted on an "All-In" basis; runners that do not take their place are not refunded. No deductions apply.
- 12.2. Regardless of whether a futures event is abandoned, postponed or transferred, bets stand until the event is completed. If a postponed event is not held within seven days of the original date, or if fresh nominations are taken, all bets are refunded.
- 12.3. Protest Payout applies only to final-field markets where the promotion applies; racing futures are not eligible for Protest Payout.
13. Same Game Multi (SGM) Bets
- 13.1. An SGM may contain a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12 legs.
- 13.2. The maximum SGM payout is $10,000 and the maximum SGM odds are 5,001.
- 13.3. SGMs cannot be cashed out.
- 13.4. SGM prices are not a simple multiplication of odds; they account for relationships between legs, so the price may be higher or lower than a standard multi. The price is shown and updated as you add or remove legs.
- 13.5. Where all selections in an SGM are completely related contingencies, the bet is paid at the highest odds of any single selection. For example, "Team to win $1.40" combined with "Team to win 5-0 $17" is paid at $17; "Player 2+ goals $2.50" with "Player 6+ goals $7" is paid at $7.
- 13.6. If any selection in an SGM is voided, the entire SGM is cancelled and the stake refunded.
- 13.7. Price-boost features are not available on SGMs.
- 13.8. Maximum payouts apply whether you place a single SGM or a series of SGMs with the same selections (even on different dates or at different odds). Where the total would exceed the maximum, the additional SGMs are void and stakes refunded; our liability will never exceed the maximum payout. We may apply these limits across accounts where we consider customers are acting in concert.
- 13.9. We may suspend, change or cancel SGM availability at any time, including for events for which SGM betting has been advertised.
14. Athletics
- 14.1. Outright (winner) markets are offered All-In; no refunds are given for non-starters or for competitors who retire or are disqualified mid-meet.
- 14.2. Bets are settled on the official result as at the podium presentation. Where a protest changes the official result within 24 hours, the event is re-settled.
- 14.3. Doping cases are not taken into account; the result available 24 hours after the event is binding, regardless of later protests or changes.
- 14.4. A competitor disqualified for an infringement (for example a false start) is treated as having taken part.
- 14.5. For head-to-head markets, both competitors must start.
15. Australian Rules Football (AFL)
- 15.1. Settlement is on the official declared result, with extra time included. For matches without extra time, a Draw is always a possible outcome in margin betting; a bet on either team to win by a margin loses in the event of a draw.
- 15.2. In such matches, any head-to-head bet is settled under the Dead Heat Rule (half face value) if the match is drawn.
- 15.3. Where a match is abandoned or postponed and replayed at the same venue within 7 days of the original date, bets stand. Otherwise: (a) after 7 days, single bets are void and refunded and multis recalculated excluding that leg; (b) if played at a different venue, single bets are void and multis recalculated excluding that leg.
- 15.4. For statistical markets (for example Top Goalscorer, Most Disposals), statistics are taken from the official AFL source for settlement.
- 15.5. A bet on a player is refunded if that player is not named in the final 22.
- 15.6. Where the venue of a match is changed, single bets are void and refunded, and affected multis recalculated excluding that leg.
- 15.7. In a finals match involving extra time, all markets are settled after extra time, except margin betting (where the Draw is an outcome) and HT/FT doubles.
- 15.8. Premiership markets include any required replays. A premiership market closes once the two grand finalists are known, after which only match betting on the Grand Final is offered.
- 15.9. Grand Final match betting refers to the next match played. If drawn, bets are settled and do not carry to a replay, and a new market is framed for any subsequent match.
- 15.10. "Most Losses" markets pay on the team losing the most matches over the season; points deducted for rule breaches are excluded. Ties are broken by official "for and against".
- 15.11. "Top Victorian Team" and "Top Non-Victorian Team" markets are settled on the higher ladder position after the home-and-away season; ties on points are decided by percentage.
16. Baseball
- 16.1. A game is official after 5 innings (4.5 if the home team leads). The Money Line is settled on the official result.
- 16.2. Run Line bets stand only if the game goes 9 innings (8.5 if the home team leads).
- 16.3. Run Total bets require 9 innings (8.5 if the home team leads), except that once the total is exceeded the bet is official.
- 16.4. All bets stand regardless of any change to a nominated starting pitcher.
- 16.5. If a game is abandoned or postponed, bets stand provided the game is played within 24 hours; otherwise single bets are void and refunded and affected multis recalculated excluding that leg.
- 16.6. First-half bets are settled on the first 5 innings (4.5 if the home side leads). Where a market lands on the flat number (including 0.0), bets on that number are a push.
- 16.7. First-innings bets require both teams to complete their first innings.
- 16.8. Day's-play markets (for example total runs for the day) are void if any game on the day does not reach its natural conclusion (at least 8.5 innings) or is cancelled or postponed, even if the day's total has already been exceeded. A pitching change does not affect day's-total settlement.
- 16.9. In ABL (or other) double-headers, Game 1 is a 7-inning game and is priced and settled accordingly; if scheduled for 9 innings, normal rules apply.
- 16.10. Where a governing body schedules a game for 7 innings (or another length) and it is not shortened in play, bets stand even if not specified on the game.
17. Basketball — NBA
- 17.1. Bets are settled on the official result; later amendments are ignored.
- 17.2. If a game is abandoned before completion, bets are void except where an outcome has been unconditionally determined (for example a 1st-half total once the 2nd half is reached).
- 17.3. If a match is postponed and rescheduled within 24 hours of the original start, bets stand.
- 17.4. Overtime counts for all markets except those that specify a particular quarter or half (for example 4th-quarter winner, 2nd-half total).
- 17.5. Outright result markets include overtime. Quarter and half markets require the full quarter or half to be played.
- 17.6. Margin and HT/FT double markets include overtime unless a Draw price is offered.
- 17.7. Match Winner & Total Points doubles include overtime.
- 17.8. Line & Total Points doubles include overtime.
- 17.9. Highest-scoring-half markets include overtime within the second half.
- 17.10. Where scores are level after the line/handicap is applied, single bets are refunded unless a Draw price was offered. If the selection was in an SGM, the whole SGM is refunded; if in a standard multi, that leg is voided and the multi recalculated. For example, with Boston Celtics (-7) where LA Lakers win 80-73: single bets are refunded; an SGM containing the leg is refunded in full; a standard multi voids that leg and continues.
- 17.11. Outright markets include the playoffs unless stated otherwise. Conference and tournament winner bets settle at the end of the playoffs; regular-season conference rankings do not count. Division winner markets are regular-season markets.
- 17.12. For player-performance markets, the selected player must take the court. Final statistics include overtime. Head-to-head, trio and group player markets require all listed players to take the court; Dead Heat Rules apply.
- 17.13. For season-long player statistic markets, Dead Heat Rules apply to ties. Any player may be quoted even if not listed; an unlisted player who wins falls under "Quote Others" and all bets on listed players lose.
18. Basketball — Australia
- 18.1. Bets are settled on the official result; later amendments are ignored.
- 18.2. If a game is abandoned before completion, bets are void except where an outcome has been unconditionally determined.
- 18.3. If a match is postponed and rescheduled within 24 hours of the original start, bets stand.
- 18.4. Overtime counts for all markets except those specifying a particular quarter.
- 18.5. Outright markets include overtime; quarter and half markets require the full period to be played.
- 18.6. Second-half markets do not include overtime.
- 18.7. Match Winner & Total Points doubles include overtime.
- 18.8. Line & Total Points doubles include overtime.
- 18.9. Margin and HT/FT doubles include overtime unless a Draw price is offered.
- 18.10. Highest-scoring-half markets include overtime within the second half.
- 18.11. Where scores are level after the line/handicap, single bets are refunded unless a Draw price was offered; an SGM containing the leg is refunded; a standard multi voids that leg and is recalculated.
- 18.12. Outright markets include the playoffs unless stated otherwise.
- 18.13. For player-performance markets, the selected player must take the court; final statistics include overtime.
- 18.14. Player head-to-head, trio and group markets require all listed players to take the court; Dead Heat Rules apply.
- 18.15. For season-long player statistic markets, Dead Heat Rules apply to ties. Any player may be quoted; an unlisted winning player falls under "Quote Others" and bets on listed players lose.
19. Basketball — Other
- 19.1. Bets are settled on the official result; later amendments are ignored.
- 19.2. If a game is abandoned before completion, bets are void except where an outcome has been unconditionally determined.
- 19.3. If a match is postponed and rescheduled within 24 hours of the original start, bets stand.
- 19.4. Overtime counts for all markets except those specifying a particular quarter.
- 19.5. Outright markets include overtime; quarter and half markets require the full period to be played.
- 19.6. Second-half markets do not include overtime.
- 19.7. Fourth-quarter markets do not include overtime.
- 19.8. Margin and HT/FT doubles include overtime unless a Draw price is offered.
- 19.9. Match Winner & Total Points doubles include overtime.
- 19.10. Highest-scoring-half markets include overtime within the second half.
- 19.11. Where scores are level after the line/handicap, single bets are refunded unless a Draw price was offered; an SGM containing the leg is refunded; a standard multi voids that leg and is recalculated.
20. Boxing
- 20.1. Where a bout is abandoned or postponed, it must be fought within 14 days of the original date for bets to stand; after that, single bets are void and refunded and affected multis recalculated excluding that leg.
- 20.2. Bets on either fighter to win are settled on the governing body's official result, including points, TKO, KO or disqualification.
- 20.3. Where a Draw price is offered, a Draw means both win bets lose and the Draw wins. A "technical draw" (for example from an accidental cut) renders the bout a no-contest and all bets are refunded.
- 20.4. In "Pick the Round" betting, if a fighter fails to answer the bell the bout is deemed to have ended in the previous round.
- 20.5. If the scheduled number of rounds changes, all bets are void and refunded.
- 20.6. A round is only completed for betting once the bell sounds to end it; an early stoppage before the bell does not count as a full round.
- 20.7. An Over/Under (total) represents completed rounds. The halfway point of a three-minute round is at 1:30; thus 9.5 rounds means 1:30 of the 10th round. The halfway point of a two-minute round is at 1:00.
21. Cricket
General
- 21.1. All matches are settled on the official result, including results decided by the Duckworth-Lewis (DLS) method or the VJD (Jayadevan) system. If there is no official result, all bets are void.
- 21.2. In a tie where the competition rules do not determine a winner, Dead Heat Rules apply; where a super over decides the match, bets follow the official result. In First Class matches, a tied official result is settled as a Dead Heat between both teams, and Draw bets lose.
- 21.3. If a match is abandoned due to external factors, bets are void unless a winner is declared under the competition rules. If a match is cancelled and not replayed or restarted within 36 hours of its advertised start, all bets are void.
Match Result Markets
- 21.4. Match Betting / Double Chance / Draw No Bet — settled per the official competition rules; a tie is a Dead Heat; if there is no official result, bets are void. For Draw No Bet, a draw voids and refunds the bet.
- 21.5. Tied Match — settled on the official result; void if the match is abandoned or there is no result. In First Class matches a tie is where the side batting second is bowled out a second time with scores level.
Team Statistical Markets (Most Fours, Sixes, Extras, Run Outs, etc.)
- 21.6. The following team markets are offered, each settled on the official figures: Most Fours, Most Sixes, Most Extras, Most Run Outs Conceded, Highest First Over Runs, Highest First Group of Overs, Highest First Wicket Partnership, Maximum Over, Match Fours/Sixes/Extras/Run Outs, and equivalent innings-based markets (Innings Runs/Wickets/Fours/Sixes/Extras/Run Outs/Maximum Over).
- 21.7. A common over-reduction void rule applies to these markets unless the result is already unconditionally determined: bets are void where the scheduled overs for the relevant innings are reduced after the bet was placed by:
- a) 5 or more overs in ODIs and other 50-over matches;
- b) 3 or more overs in Twenty20 matches (and the team is not all out and has not reached its target);
- c) 3 or more 5-ball overs in The Hundred matches (and the team is not all out and has not reached its target);
- d) 1 or more overs in T10 matches.
In drawn First Class matches these bets are void if fewer than 200 overs are bowled; in Test/First Class matches certain markets are void if fewer than 60 overs are bowled in the innings due to external factors, unless the innings has reached a natural conclusion.
- 21.8. Only fours and sixes scored off the bat (off any delivery, legal or not) count; overthrows, all-run fours, and extras do not. Extras comprise all wides, no-balls, byes, leg-byes and penalty runs; where runs off the bat and extras come from the same delivery, the runs off the bat are excluded from extras totals. A "run out conceded" means a member of that team is run out while batting. Runs, wickets, extras and run outs scored in a super over never count.
- 21.9. Highest First Over Runs requires the first over to be completed unless already settled; if the innings ends during the first over due to external factors, bets are void unless already settled. In First Class matches the market refers only to each team's first innings.
Over Markets
- 21.10. Runs in Over / Boundary in Over / Wicket in Over / Over Odd-Even / Runs or Wickets in Groups of Overs — the specified over(s) must be completed for bets to stand unless already settled. If an innings ends during an over, that over is treated as complete unless ended by external factors (in which case bets are void unless already settled). If the over does not commence, bets are void. Extras and penalty runs count. For Odd/Even, zero is even. For Wicket in Over, any dismissal counts including run outs; a batter retiring hurt is not a wicket; a "timed out" or "retired out" wicket is deemed to have fallen on the previous ball.
Session and Innings Markets
- 21.11. Runs in Session — settled on total runs in the specified session, regardless of team; void if fewer than 20 overs are bowled in the session unless already settled.
- 21.12. The innings-based markets (Innings Runs, Wickets, Fours, Sixes, Extras, Run Outs, Maximum Over) follow the over-reduction and 60-over / 200-over void thresholds in 21.7, with the super-over exclusion in 21.8. Retired hurt does not count as a dismissal.
Batter, Bowler and All-Rounder Markets
- 21.13. Top Batter / Top Bowler (match or innings) — settled on the highest individual run-scorer or wicket-taker. Dead Heat Rules apply to ties. Void thresholds: in Test/First Class matches, fewer than 60 overs bowled (external factors) unless naturally concluded; in ODIs, a reduction of 25 or more overs; in Twenty20, a reduction of 10 or more overs. In First Class top-batter markets only the first innings of each team counts, void if fewer than 200 overs bowled. If no bowler takes a wicket in an innings, top-bowler-in-innings bets are void. Super-over figures do not count.
- 21.14. Man of the Match — settled on the official award; Dead Heat Rules apply; if none is declared, bets are void.
- 21.15. Runs off Delivery / Free Hit — settled on runs added to the team total off the specified delivery; all illegal balls count as deliveries; all runs (off the bat or not) count. If a delivery becomes (or is re-bowled as) a free hit due to an illegal delivery, runs off the additional/re-bowled delivery do not count. Super-over runs do not count.
- 21.16. Batter Runs / Fours / Sixes / Milestones — if the batter finishes not out due to a declaration, the overs being completed, or the target being reached, that figure stands. If the batter does not bat, or is not in the starting XI, bets are void. A batter who retires hurt and returns has the full innings total counted; if they do not return, the figure stands as at retirement. Over-reduction and First Class void thresholds apply per 21.7; super-over figures excluded.
- 21.17. Method of Dismissal — void if the batter is not out, or retires hurt and does not return; if they return and are dismissed, bets stand.
- 21.18. Fall of Next Wicket / Next Man Out / Next to Take a Wicket / Next to Hit Six / Race to X Runs / Method of Next Wicket Dismissal — a retiring-hurt batter does not count as a wicket. Where the specified wicket does not fall, or the named batters at the crease differ from those quoted, bets are void or settled as "Neither/None of the above" as applicable. Run outs and other dismissals not credited to a bowler settle "Next to Take a Wicket" markets as "None of the above". "Race to X" and "Next to Hit Six" stand regardless of curtailment and settle as "Neither" if no qualifying event occurs.
- 21.19. Batter / Bowler / All-Rounder / Keeper Match Bets — settled on which named player scores more runs, takes more wickets, or scores more points. The player-performance scoring system is: 1 point per run, 20 per wicket, 10 per catch, 25 per stumping. Both players must be named in the starting XI; if one then does not bat or bowl, head-to-head bets are still settled. Over-reduction and 60/200-over void thresholds apply; super-over figures excluded.
- 21.20. Last Man Standing — settled on the batter not out at the innings' end; where two or more are not out, the winner is the last to face a delivery (legal or not). A batter who retired hurt or did not bat is not treated as not out. In limited-overs matches, bets are void if the innings is reduced by external factors after the bet.
- 21.21. Winning Over — the over of the named team's innings in which the match is completed; void if no official result, or (limited overs) if the maximum overs are reduced after the bet.
Series, Futures and Player Performance
- 21.22. Series Betting — outright series bets stand if at least one match is completed; if matches are reduced, bets on series result, top run-scorer and similar markets stand, but correct-series-score bets are void if the scheduled number of games is not played; if there is no further action (series abandoned), bets are void.
- 21.23. Top Batter / Bowler in a Series — stand regardless of whether a player bats or bowls, provided at least one match (Test, where applicable) is completed; unlisted players count as winners if they top the relevant table.
- 21.24. Match Bets in a Series — void if there is no further action after the bet (for example a withdrawal through injury); one match must be completed; tournament totals apply.
- 21.25. Player Performance — uses the points system (1 per run, 20 per wicket, 10 per catch, 25 per stumping), with stakes refunded on non-selected players. Void thresholds: Test/First Class, fewer than 60 overs (external factors) unless naturally concluded; ODIs, reduction of 25 or more overs; Twenty20, reduction of 10 or more overs. Super-over points excluded.
- 21.26. Test / County Championship matches — void if abandoned by weather before a ball is bowled; outright-result bets void if abandoned for any reason other than weather; where no Draw price was offered and the match is drawn, match-result bets are void; a tie settles the Draw as a loser and applies Dead Heat Rules to the other selections.
- 21.27. Sheffield Shield matches — a drawn match is settled on the team awarded the most match points; equal points are settled under Dead Heat Rules.
- 21.28. Century in Match and Player Wickets follow the standard over-reduction and 60/200-over void thresholds; in First Class/Test matches Player Wickets refers to first-innings wickets unless specified; super-over figures excluded.
- 21.29. Futures / Outrights — bets stand regardless of postponement unless the governing body declares the competition cancelled with no official winner, in which case bets are void.
- 21.30. Substitutes — Big Bash X-Factor: a player named in the starting XI who is substituted off has bets on them voided; a player not in the starting XI who is substituted in has bets stand. Concussion substitutes: all bets stand on both the player substituted out and the player substituted in.
22. Cycling
- 22.1. Settlement is on the official classification at the podium presentation; overturned decisions are not recognised. Doping cases are not considered, and the result available 24 hours after the event is binding.
- 22.2. Futures markets are All-In; no refunds for non-starters, including group or team betting.
- 22.3. For head-to-head bets, both riders must cross the starting line for bets to stand.
- 22.4. For head-to-head bets, if one rider retires, the rider who finishes wins; if both retire, the one who retired second wins; if that cannot be determined, bets are void.
- 22.5. For team matchups, all nominated riders of a team must start.
23. Darts
- 23.1. Bets stand regardless of postponement unless the governing body declares the competition cancelled with no official winner, in which case bets are void.
- 23.2. Match Betting — the player progressing to the next round is the winner, provided at least one dart has been thrown at the start of the first leg; if no dart is thrown, bets are void. Where a draw is possible, a draw makes win bets losers.
- 23.3. Correct Scores — for leg or set correct-score markets, the required number of legs/sets must be completed or bets are void.
- 23.4. Next Leg / Next Set — the player who wins the specified leg or set wins; if that leg/set is not played, those bets are void.
- 23.5. Handicap Betting — void if the match is not completed, or if the statutory number of legs/sets differs from those offered.
- 23.6. Total / Most 180s (match or tournament) — where no tie price is offered, Dead Heat Rules apply; void if the match or tournament is not completed unless already settled.
- 23.7. Leg / Set markets — void if the leg/set is not completed unless the outcome is unconditionally determined; a leg/set awarded for any reason stands.
- 23.8. A player who withdraws from a league competition (for example the Premier League) before its conclusion has bets voided unless already settled, and any "finish bottom" market is voided. A player who starts a tournament and then withdraws has outright bets settled as losers.
24. Golf
- 24.1. Bets are refunded for any player who does not tee off.
- 24.2. Tournament betting includes any playoff holes.
- 24.3. For the place portion of each-way and other placing bets (for example Top 10), the Dead Heat Rule applies to players tied for the last qualifying position.
- 24.4. If a tournament is shortened, bets are settled on the official result regardless of rounds played. Bets placed at the end of a day's play where there is no further play are void and refunded.
- 24.5. If a tournament is officially abandoned or not completed within 14 days of commencement, bets are void unless a result has been reached.
- 24.6. In group and head-to-head tournament markets (head-to-heads, nationality, group, trio), all players must complete 36 holes for bets to stand; playoffs are excluded. Round match markets (matchups, 2- and 3-balls) require completion of 18 holes.
- 24.7. In any group market, the winner is the player completing the most holes; where equal, the lowest score wins.
- 24.8. For "to lead at end of round" markets, the round must be completed for bets to stand.
- 24.9. For Make/Miss the Cut markets, the player must complete at least 36 holes.
- 24.10. A player is deemed to have made the cut if eligible to play the post-cut round, even if they choose not to.
- 24.11. For "Top X" markets, bets are settled after the nominated regulation holes; for example, if six players make a playoff, all six are paid at 5/6 of face value for Top 5 betting.
- 24.12. A player is not deemed to have completed a round's holes unless awarded a score for that round; if disqualified but still given an official score, the round is treated as complete.
25. Gridiron (American Football)
- 25.1. Bets are settled on the official final score, including overtime unless stated otherwise.
- 25.2. Matches must run to completion of normal time for bets to stand.

- 25.4. Where a flat line (for example 7.0) is offered and the result lands on that number, bets are void and refunded and affected multis recalculated.
26. Handball

- 26.2. If a match is not played on the scheduled date, bets are void.

- 27.2. Matches must run to completion of normal time for bets to stand.
- 27.3. If a game is abandoned or postponed, it must resume within 24 hours; otherwise single bets are void and refunded and affected multis recalculated excluding that leg.
28. Mixed Martial Arts
- 28.1. Where a bout is abandoned or postponed, it must be fought within 14 days of the original date for bets to stand; after that, single bets are void and refunded and affected multis recalculated. Exception: where the bet was placed while the bout was on the "unconfirmed fights" list, bets stand until the date noted in the event comment expires.
- 28.2. Bets on either fighter to win are settled on the governing body's official decision, including points, TKO, KO or disqualification.
- 28.3. Where a Draw price is offered, a draw makes win bets losers and the Draw wins. A "technical draw" (accidental cut) renders the bout a no-contest and bets are refunded. Where no Draw is offered, Dead Heat Rules apply and bets pay at half face value.
- 28.4. In "Pick the Round" betting, if a fighter fails to answer the bell the bout is deemed to have ended in the previous round.
- 28.5. If the scheduled number of rounds changes, all bets are void and refunded.
- 28.6. A round is only completed once the bell sounds; an early stoppage does not count as a full round.
- 28.7. The official UFC source is used for statistical markets and any official ruling.
- 28.8. An Over/Under represents completed rounds. The halfway point of a five-minute round is at 2:30; thus 2.5 rounds means 2:30 of the 3rd round.

- 31.3. The Dead Heat Rule applies to all markets.

- 32.13. Halfway-leader markets are decided at the halfway point of the season (unless a specific round is nominated); ties on points are broken by best "for and against".
33. Rugby Union
- 33.1. Settlement is on the official declared result, including the end of any extra time. A draw after extra time settles head-to-head markets under Dead Heat Rules. HT/FT doubles and all margin bets are settled at the end of normal time, excluding extra time; a Draw price is always offered in margin betting.
- 33.2. Where a match is abandoned or postponed and played within 7 days of the original date, bets stand; after 7 days, single bets not already concluded are void and multis recalculated excluding that leg.
- 33.3. If a match does not commence, or is cancelled before the end of the first half, all bets are void regardless of the official result. If abandoned in the second half, the match result stands and all other markets are void unless an outcome was unconditionally reached.
- 33.4. "Most Losses" markets pay on the team losing the most matches; deducted points are excluded; ties are broken by "for and against".
- 33.5. Time of First/Last Try markets are settled on the official clock.
- 33.6. A bet on a player is refunded if they are not in the official starting team list.
- 33.7. Penalty tries do not count. Where a penalty try is the first try, First Try Scorer bets carry to the next try; where it is the last try, Last Try Scorer bets pay on the second-last try scorer.
- 33.8. All bets stand regardless of venue change.
- 33.9. For Six Nations betting, a Grand Slam means defeating all other teams; the Triple Crown means one of England, Scotland, Ireland or Wales defeating the other three; draws are not victories.
- 33.10. For Try Conversion markets, a penalty try awarding 7 points automatically (no conversion attempt) is disregarded, and settlement is based on the next 5-point try where a conversion is attempted.
34. Snooker
- 34.1. Both players must start the match and the match must run to completion for bets to stand.

- 35.3. Exotic markets, unless specified, are settled at the end of normal time (including injury time).

- 35.6. For First Goalscorer, Anytime Goalscorer and similar markets, if no goals are scored all bets lose.
- 35.7. Own goals are ignored in goalscorer markets. For First Goalscorer, an own goal carries all bets to the next goal; if there are no further goals, bets lose. Own goals are ignored across all player goalscorer markets.
36. Surfing
- 36.1. Bets stand regardless of any delay or venue change. If the governing body declares the competition cancelled with no official winner, bets are void.
- 36.2. Futures markets are All-In; once a competitor enters the water, bets are deemed to have commenced; no refunds for non-starters.

- 36.4. For heat betting, all surfers in the heat must enter the water for bets to stand.
37. Swimming

- 38.5. If a match does not run to conclusion, any markets (other than match betting) not unconditionally determined are void.
- 38.6. For handicap or total games markets, the match must run to conclusion or bets are void, except where the result is already determined.
- 38.7. Set Betting markets are void if the match does not run to completion, except where the bet has no remaining chance of success (for example backing a 2-0 win after losing the first set, prior to a retirement).
- 38.8. 1st Set Score and 1st Set Winner bets are settled on completion of the first set, regardless of whether the rest of the match is completed.
- 38.9. For the avoidance of doubt, a player may lose the match but still cover a minus handicap (for example a player at -1.5 may lose yet cover).
- 38.10. For a tie-break market, if a player retires and no tie-break has been played, the market is void; if a tie-break has been played, it is settled as "yes".
- 38.11. For "Number of Sets" markets: a retirement before the 2nd set is completed (best of 3) or before the 4th set is completed (best of 5) voids the market; a retirement after the 2nd set (best of 3) settles it as a 3-set match, and after the 4th set (best of 5) as a 5-set match.

- 39.4. However, for World Championship, Commonwealth Games or Olympic matches, a postponed match's bets stand provided it is rescheduled before the closing ceremony.
- 39.5. If a match does not take place, or a player/team receives a walkover, bets are void.
- 39.6. A venue change does not void bets, provided the venue has not changed to the opponent's home ground (or, for international matches, provided it remains in the same country).
- 39.7. An abandoned match voids all markets unless the outcome has been unequivocally decided by the governing body.
- 39.8. Where a Golden Set decides progression, it does not count toward the settlement of an individual match; it applies only to tournament/outright betting.
- 39.9. Futures / Outrights — bets stand regardless of postponement unless the governing body declares the competition cancelled with no official winner, in which case bets are void.
40. Dispute Handling and Complaints
- 40.1. If you believe a bet has been settled incorrectly or unfairly, you must contact us as soon as possible, and in any event before placing a further bet, by emailing our support email (see Contact Us) or calling our support line (see Contact Us). We will investigate and respond in accordance with our complaints-handling process.
- 40.2. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and to resolve them within the timeframes required by the National Consumer Protection Framework and our licence conditions. Where a complaint cannot be resolved immediately, we will keep you informed of its progress and of our final decision and reasons.
- 40.3. Where a dispute concerns the result of a race or event, the official result and any ruling of the relevant governing body, stewards or controlling authority are binding for settlement purposes, subject to these Rules.
- 40.4. Palpable (obvious) errors. Where a price, line, handicap or other term has been offered, displayed or accepted as a result of an obvious or palpable error — including a manifest pricing mistake, an incorrectly entered line, a market left open in error after an event has commenced or a result is known, or a clear technical fault — we may void the affected bet and refund the stake, or re-settle the bet at the price or terms that would have applied but for the error. We act reasonably and in good faith when relying on this clause.
- 40.5. If you remain dissatisfied with our final response, you may refer your complaint to Liquor & Gaming NSW or to the relevant external dispute body identified in our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Rules limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or the National Consumer Protection Framework.
- 40.6. We are committed to responsible gambling. Tools including deposit limits, deposit timeouts, self-exclusion and account closure are available, and support information is provided through our platforms and our Responsible Gambling resources.
Schedule of Deductions
Where a runner is scratched or withdrawn after a fixed-odds market has been formed, the agreed odds of the remaining runners are reduced according to the price of the scratched runner. The table below shows the deduction (in cents per dollar of the affected return) to be applied based on the fixed Win odds of the scratched runner. The "3 Place" column applies where three placings are paid and the "2 Place" column where two placings are paid. Where multiple runners are scratched, deductions are applied cumulatively.
